This informal conversation with Diana and Michael Lorence of Innermost House will examine the many ways of simplicity, and how an experience of seven years in the woods without electricity, telephone or automobile may be adapted to simplify even the busiest life in the world.

Join us this ongoing class practicing the gentle Chinese martial art, T'ai chi ch'uan, with local instructor Robert Noha. Sensei Noha has more than 40 years experience teaching Aikido and T'ai chi ch'uan. Beginners welcome; join us every Tuesday night at 6pm.

This a free program for adults 18+, no registration is required.

Nature Journaling makes you a better observer, naturalist, and artist and opens a world of beauty and discovery.

Do you want to keep a nature journal or bump your current practice to a higher orbit? Join us for our monthly workshop series, and see the possibilities of what a journal can be! If you already have a journal kit, bring it along plus any personal favorite sketching or nature study supplies.

In this class you will:

•Learn the practices that makes journaling a lifelong habit (and what does not work).
•Get tips to help you to set up your journaling kit.
•Participate in a journal kit show and tell
•Discover field tested logistics of sketching in the field.
•Learn the foundational strategy to draw any subject.
