April 11, 2007 (Lafayette, CA) -- After years of planning and fundraising and advocacy, the new Lafayette Library and Learning Center is breaking ground for its new home.

3/ 12/07 (Lafayette, CA) -- Today, the Lafayette Community Foundation proposed to provide funds to help cover the costs of hours, maintenance, and programs at the new Lafayette Library and Learning Center which is expected to open in the spring of 2009.

6/28/06 (Lafayette, CA) -- Lafayette Library and Learning Center this week hosted the Ocean Creature Features Festival, a free program for children ages 5 through 14 and developed by the Lawrence Hall of Science at the University of California, Berkeley to help students get excited about science and learn about marine life in all its varied and wondrous forms.
