About Us
Lafayettelib.com is the official website for the Lafayette Library and Learning Center Foundation (LLLCF). LLLCF is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit, public benefit corporation for the principle purpose of establishing and supporting the construction, operations, programs, funding and other business of the Lafayette Library and Learning Center. All charitable donations to LLLCF are tax deductible, subject to the provisions of Internal Revenue Code Section 170.
Our Mission
Opening Doors, Opening Minds
In partnership with leading arts, education, science, and cultural institutions, the Trustees of the LLLCF will provide enriched learning opportunities across the age spectrum for the people of Lafayette and East Bay communities.
Trustees of the LLLCF dedicate themselves to:
- Supporting the vision of Lafayette as a community of lifelong learners by providing a wide spectrum of high quality programs through the Glenn Seaborg Learning Consortium
- Contributing to the fiscal health and sustainability of this premier community asset
